even if you close this ticket, the channel still exists.

the creation has been asked for by a user and, in such cases, i've learned that it's easier and much more positive to just say: ok, let's do it.
only one in ten (made up statistics are the best ones...) of this ideas lead to something useful, but it's worth to make our users happy, when it does not costs much effort.
in this case: there is no communication going on in the channel.

and no, the team does not have to follow every existing channel about scribus.
but new developers might get interest in scribus because of such a channel exist.

i reopen this ticket because i've left it open as a reminder that it would be nice to have the badge in the readme file.
and once we have the badge, maybe one day there will be people on the channel...
