How do you propose to present the indoor / internal sensor temperature on the matrix display, such that it is clear to all users what is weather data and what is from internal sensor? If the internal sensor also has Humidity and/or pressure, display that as well.

Secondly, any sensor chosen, there will be another user that wants to use another make of sensor.

So, first I like to see how many users are there that want such feature and what their expectations are.

i think the dallas ds18b20 and dht22 are easy to source
