Drum notation cymbals voice beaming per half note

I Thought I had raised this issue in another post but can't find a reference to it.

At the moment with drum notation the beaming of cymbals voice is incorrect when all notes are 8th notes (see attached)
They are only beamed per beat whereas they should be beamed per half note.

The beaming is not incorrect, alphaTab follows the general recommendation of 4/4 beaming according to Behind Bars from Elaine Gould and for a 4/4 time signature the recommendation is to stay within quarters with an optional beaming across the first two quarters:

alphaTab has quite a wide list of default beaming rules and pick from these defaults.

But alphaTab 1.8.0 has got you covered for any custom preferences in beaming:

• If you use alphaTex you can define custom beaming rules: https://alphatab.net/docs/alphatex/bar-metadata#beaming
• If you use Guitar Pro input files, you can define the beaming in the time signature dialog and alphaTab will pick it up:
• MusicXML unfortunately does not have a built-in way of describing beaming. You would need to set the beaming rule via code e.g. in scoreLoaded you can fill beamingRules.
• Last but not least (its rather cumbersome but works): You can also specify override the preferred beaming on beat level:
  • via alphaTex beam
  • or on code level applied to all Beats individually via beat.beamingMode.
